Getting Started with Zencore Bot

Welcome to Zencore Bot! This guide will help you set up and configure the bot for your Discord server.

Inviting the Bot

To add Zencore Bot to your server, click the "Invite to Discord" button on our home page or use the link below:

Basic Setup

Once the bot is in your server, follow these steps to get started:

  1. Use !setup to run the initial configuration wizard
  2. Set your preferred prefix with !prefix [new prefix]
  3. Configure welcome messages with !welcome setup
  4. Set up moderation channels with !modlog #channel

Commands Reference

Zencore Bot offers a wide range of commands organized into different categories. The default prefix is ! but can be changed using the !prefix command.

How do I change the bot's prefix?

Use the command !prefix [new prefix] to change the prefix. For example, !prefix ? would change the prefix to ?.

How do I set up welcome messages?

Use !welcome channel #channel to set the welcome channel, then !welcome message [your message] to set the welcome message. You can use {user} to mention the new member.

Can I use Zencore Bot in multiple servers with one license?

No, each license is tied to a single Discord server. You'll need to purchase a separate license for each server where you want premium features.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Join our support server and create a ticket in the appropriate channel.

What happens when my monthly subscription expires?

When your subscription expires, premium features will be disabled on your server. Your configurations will be saved for 30 days, so if you renew within that period, all your settings will be restored.

Troubleshooting

The bot doesn't respond to commands

  • Check if the bot is online
  • Verify that you're using the correct prefix
  • Ensure the bot has proper permissions in your server
  • Make sure you're using the command in the correct channel

Music commands don't work

  • Ensure you're in a voice channel
  • Check if the bot has permissions to join and speak in voice channels
  • Verify that the link or song name is valid
  • Try reconnecting to the voice channel

Welcome messages aren't being sent

  • Check if you've set up a welcome channel using !welcome channel #channel
  • Ensure the bot has permission to send messages in the welcome channel
  • Verify that you've set a welcome message using !welcome message [your message]

My license key isn't working

  • Double-check that you're entering the correct license key
  • Verify that the license isn't already being used on another server
  • Ensure your license hasn't expired (for monthly subscriptions)
